Block L13/48 contains the Si That gas discovery which is 30km east of the Sinphuhorm field. Seismic interpretation indicates a structure apparently analogous with that of the Sinphuhorm field with the presence of the Pha Nok Khao formation down-dip of the discovery well. The structure was initially drilled by Esso in 1983 and the Si That-1 well reportedly flowed-in substantial quantities of water on test indicating good reservoir, but only minor quantities of gas. In 1997, Cairn drilled Si That-2 in a more crestal location on the south of the field but is reported to have encountered poorer Si That formation reservoir which flowed at 1.25 MMscfd.

In H2 2009 Salamander drilled the Si That-3 well that found fractures in the carbonate reservoir but the productive horizons encountered in the well are below the closure of the Si That structure.
