Block L15/43 surrounds the Sinphuhorm concession and Salamander believes that the Sinphuhorm field is likely to extend into this area.
The Phu Horm South well was drilled in 2008 to appraise the southerly extent of the Sinphuhorm field. The well encountered gas but the fracture network required to realise a commercial flow-rate was not present in this location.
