Kutai

The Kutai PSC is located in the heart of the Kutei basin, the acreage surrounds a number of giant producing fields and covers an area of 4,728 sq. km. Offshore 3D and onshore 2D seismic programmes were completed in late 2008/early 2009.

The Dambus-1 and Marindan-1 exploration wells were drilled in H2 2010. Both wells encountered hydrocarbons but neither were deemed to be commercial and both of the wells were plugged and abandoned.
