Salamander has established a core operating base in Indonesia and the country is home to a mixture of production, appraisal and exploration assets. We have an office in Jakarta that is the hub for our Indonesian operations.
Our Indonesian operations are centred around two main areas: Central Kalimantan and East Kalimantan.
In East Kalimantan, we hold the leading independent exploration position in the prolific Kutei basin. This is comprised of a 100% operated interest in the Bontang PSC, a 75% operated interest in the South East Sangatta PSC and a 41.7% interest in the Kutai PSC.
Further inland in Central Kalimantan we have an 80% operated interest in the Bangkanai PSC. This contains the Kerendan gas field development.
We also hold interests in two licences in the Tarakan Basin, a 21% interest in the Simenggaris JOB and a 41.7% interest in the Bengara-1 PSC.
In North Sumatra, we have a 50% operated interest in the Glagah-Kambuna TAC that contains the Kambuna gas-condensate fiel
