Management team

Based in Singapore, Hans is a General Counsel, bringing with him 27 years of commercial and oil and gas experience, which he gained in Canada, Australia, Malaysia and Indonesia. He has also worked on projects in other parts of Southeast Asia, North Africa and the Middle East, enabling him to provide expertise and support in most facets of the oil industry. Prior to joining Salamander, Hans was leading a legal team of 12 at Woodside Energy, where he had been for eight years. Prior to this, Hans worked for various energy companies, including WMC Resources in Perth, LASMO in Indonesia and Home Oil Malaysia.

Hans holds a BSc in Mathematics and a BSc in Electrical Engineering. Hans was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1979, and he was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Western Australia Supreme Court in 1999.
